Committee for Collaboration and Outreach of the Division of Genomics and Precision Medicine

Mission Statement

The mission of the Committee for Collaboration and Outreach is to further the scientific research activities of the Division of Genomics and Precision Medicine internally, through enabling collaborations, and externally, by communicating research activities and results.

The Division of Genomics and Precision Medicine consists of diverse teams with clearly delineated research goals, yet sharing research themes and speaking the same scientific language. Opportunities for scientific collaboration exist within the Division. However, these might not be realized because the research teams are not sufficiently aware of each other's scientific activities. The Committee for Collaboration and Outreach aims to create an environment that facilitates the formation of synergistic, impactful scientific collaborations between different research teams within the Division of Genomics and Precision Medicine.
To attract the most competitive students and scientists, and to facilitate our research results to have the maximum possible impact on the wider research community as well as the general public, the Committee for Collaboration and Outreach aims to communicate and showcase these achievements and results.
